1. Who we are
Smart Mart EG Creative Hub ("the App", available at creative.erpsmartmarteg.com) is an internal tool operated by Smart Mart EG, Egypt. Contact: info@smartmarteg.com.
2. What the App does
The App is used only by authorized Smart Mart EG staff to create marketing videos about Smart Mart EG's own products and to publish them to Smart Mart EG's own social media accounts on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. It is not offered to the public and does not publish to anyone else's accounts.
3. Data we collect
- Staff accounts: name, work email, role, hashed password, and security logs (sign-in time, IP address, device type) needed to protect the App.
- Connected social accounts: when an administrator connects a Smart Mart EG account, we receive from the platform's official API the basic profile information (account ID, display name, profile picture), the publishing permissions that were granted, and access/refresh tokens.
- Post data: the videos and captions we publish, publishing status, and post analytics (for example views, likes, comments, shares) returned by the platform APIs for our own posts.
- Essential cookie: one session cookie to keep staff signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
4. How we use the data
Only to operate the App: to sign staff in, to publish Smart Mart EG's videos to Smart Mart EG's own accounts, to show publishing results, and to measure how our own posts perform. We do not use platform data for advertising profiles, and we do not use it to train AI models.
5. Sharing
We never sell, rent or share platform data with third parties. Data is sent only to the platform it belongs to (for example, a video is sent to TikTok when we post it to TikTok). Our marketing videos may be produced with the help of AI services; these services receive our own product content, not data obtained from social platform APIs.
6. Storage and security
Data is stored on our own server. Access tokens, refresh tokens and API keys are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) and are never shown in the App's interface. Access is limited to authorized staff by role, all connections use HTTPS, and security-relevant actions are logged.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep connection data only while the account is connected. An administrator can disconnect an account at any time from Settings → Connections; this revokes the token with the platform where supported and deletes the stored tokens immediately. You can also remove the App's access from the platform's own settings (for example, TikTok → Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions). To request deletion of any other data related to you, email info@smartmarteg.com; we will complete the request within 30 days. Database backups are kept for up to 5 weeks and then deleted.
8. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal data about you by emailing info@smartmarteg.com.
9. Children
The App is an internal business tool and is not directed to children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when we do.
